COMTES FHT s.r.o. (COMplete TEchnological Service for Forming and Heat Treatment) was established at the end of 2000 as a company focused on research and development of forming technologies, heat treatment technologies and materials engineering. Core activities of COMTES FHT company include optimization of named processes using numerical and physical simulation, selection of metallic materials for machine parts, design of production technologies, materialographic analyses, measurement of materials properties and manufacturing of prototypes. The staff include 12 persons with experience in metallurgical research and numerical simulation. The company owns a machine shop, an electrical furnace, metallographic and materials preparation labs and utilizes a forming laboratory with hydraulic, crank and isostatic presses.

Jaroslav DrnekMS, graduated from University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, spent one year at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL, USA. He focuses on metals engineering and metallography. Since 2001 he is an employee of COMTES FHT, specialized in metallic materials analysis.
