Gammastamp is a company specialising in the manufacturing of small/medium forming parts for the automotive sector. It has developed technologies and Systems that aim at continuous qualitative improvements. In particular, Gammastamp produces different parts for the automotive sector, such as hand brake lever assemblies, safety belt components, door hinges and handles, window regulators and other precision components.
Skills available : R&D activities in the field of micro forming process for different type of applications, precision forming (such as forming of miniature components, micro-stamping, etc.) or precision tools/machinery.
Equipment available to support the research :
- Laboratory and industrial stamping and machining equipments
- Metallurgical laboratory for characterisation.
- Job shop PVD coating centre for tools, punchs, dies and toolings.
- Software for economic analysis and LCA analysis.

Prof. Franco RabezzanaSection Head in Gammastamp of machining and stamping processes, Mr. G. Bertecco has over 20 years experience in machining and stamping process research. He has been involved in different national and European RTD projects.

Provision of industrial end-user field tests (deep-drawing and fine blanking stamping operations) and economic analysis and industrial implementation of stamping operations by use of the optimal toolings developed during the project. |
