of the organization

|
IFP SICOMP, parent organisation of IFP Research and SICOMP, is a non-profit multidisciplinary Research and Technology Organisation that serves the international industry with basic and applied research in the areas of composite, polymer and fibrous material. It consists of The Swedish Institute for Fibre and Polymer Research (IFP Research) and The Swedish Institute for Composite Materials (SICOMP).
The Swedish Government (40%) and Trade Association Member Companies (60%) own IFP SICOMP. About 300 companies are member in IFP SICOMP organisation and our main R&D activities have organised into 18 sub-programme groups where the Association Member Companies are placed depending on their production and type of business.
Presently IFP Research participating at 9 EU projects and carry out more than 2000 consulting commissions per year.
