Fraunhofer IPA activities mainly focused on problems of technology and organization in industrial manufacturing. Most projects are carried out through contract research projects, financed by industrial companies. Another important area of the Fraunhofer IPA is the participation in projects funded by German government and EC. Fraunhofer IPA provides its customers with comprehensive know-how from corporate development and planning to automation and information technology as well as quality engineering. Fraunhofer IPA covers technical areas such as e.g. enterprise development and factory organization.
