Tecan is a leading manufacturer of custom-specified, flat profile and three-dimensional precision metal parts. We serve the world's most innovative, hi-tech companies involved in industries that demand the ultimate in quality and precision.
Our team of experienced engineers work in close partnership with the customer to develop 'tolerance-critical' metal part manufacturing solutions - helping realise their ideas more rapidly than they imagined, for less than they thought.
Decades of process innovation and investment have culminated in Tecan being able to utilise a wide range of 'unconventional', photolithography-based technologies, that allow burr and stress-free metal parts to be cost-effectively produced in prototype through to volume quantities. Our 'in-house' portfolio of precision manufacturing technologies includes:
* Photo Chemical Machining (PCM)
* Photo ElectroForming (PEF)
* Micro-Photo ElectroForming (Micro-PEF)
* Laser Cutting
* Precision Electroplating
These technologies are combined, or used in isolation to meet the customer's exact cost, material and accuracy requirements. Ultimately, this means Tecan can offer a single-source solution for finished precision metal parts that can include features sizes down to 2 microns at sub-micron accuracy.
