Our mission at UAR is to promote the transfer of technology from science to business. Promising results obtained during initial R&D should be taken a step further and, together with interested businesses, be developed into new technologies, products or services. UAR provides scientists with a platform for purposeful, long-term cooperation with local businesses with the aim of producing marketable products and services.
UAR consists of four departments: Biomedical Nanotechnology, Polymer Technology, Medical-Informatics and Contactless Sensor Technology, which provides measuring techniques for non-destructive testing used in this project.
